"Raffaello", having begun rowing at La Gondola Providence in the summer of 2008, is now a seasoned veteran within the watercourses of the city. He attended secondary school in northwestern RI, at Ponaganset, and then earned his B.S. in Aerospace Engineering at Worcester Polytechnic Institute, with a minor in Music. All vocal training (aside from the gondola) has been through various singing groups he belonged to at WPI, all of which pushed his ability, and encouraged positive growth. Hoping to pass along his zeal for mathematics and the sciences, humanities, & arts, Raffaello (under the non-Italian name by which he is known to the rest of the world) guises himself as a substitute educator during the off-season. When free time is available, Raffaello may be found pursuing a variety of other interests: reading, blacksmithing, painting, bee-keeping, composing poetry, camping, woodcarving, gardening, cooking, repairing things, researching, and almost any related sphere of activity.
