Since the launch of our third gondola in May, 2011, La Gondola is proudly much more capable of quickly and efficiently accommodating large groups! We do offer large-party discounts, and we are able to work with local vendors and restaurants to create an even more total Italian experience. Trips can be customized to suit the needs and wishes of your party with historical tours, live Italian music, and more.
We can work within the schedule of any group itinerary, being able to accommodate large groups seven days a week in the morning, afternoon, or evening, as always subject to the constrictions of weather and availability.

Our standard group tour options and rates are as follows:
Our most economical package, the Viaggio Dilettevole allows guests to experience an enticing taste of the gondola experience without the issue of exceedingly long waits for large groups. This package consists of 18-20 minute trips along the Riverwalk in Providence, offering up to 18 passengers at one time the opportunity to enjoy the sites and sounds of the city on our three authentic Venetian gondolas (six passengers per boat.) The trip is always made complete by a little live music from your gondolier.
This trip package is recommended for our largest parties, particularly if time is short for them, as it allows us to accommodate 54 passengers in approximately one hour and 108 passengers in approximately two hours.
Rate per gondola: $96 Rate per person: $16
Prices include all taxes, fees, and gratuity for the gondoliers.
Suggested additions include catering by The Deli On Post, an authentic Italian-style deli, and live musical entertainment on shore by one of our talented musicians (accordion player, mandolin player, and/or soprano,) especially if our gondola experience is the only event planned for a very large group (over 54 guests.)

For parties specifically looking to enjoy a more complete or specifically information-driven experience, we offer the Viaggio Fantastico which consists of an approximately 30-minute trip along Providence's beautifully designed Riverwalk. Founded over 375 years ago, Providence has a rich heritage that is communicated, by request of the guests, to your group by our most experienced gondoliers, who are well-versed in the great history of the city. Of course, some live music is also provided by your gondolier to complete the trip.
Provided complimentary on this trip are authentic Italian-style wine biscuits, handmade by the incredible confectioners at The Deli On Post, as well as a bottle of water for every passenger on board.
Rate per gondola: $162 Rate per person: $27
Prices include all taxes, fees, and gratuity for the gondoliers.
We highly suggest the addition of a live musician (accordion player, mandolin player, and/or soprano) to entertain guests on shore while they wait before or after their own gondola trip, particularly for groups of 36 or more. For this trip option, the rates are:
