About This Trip

WaterFire is one of the most dreamlike and extraordinary events one could ever witness, and gliding along on an authentic Venetian gondola mere feet from the flames is surreal!  Enjoy the fascinating union of fire and water and the evocative music as your gondolier expertly rows you along the Providence and Woonasquatucket Rivers. Truly, this is an indescribable event, and a memory that lasts a lifetime.

WaterFire is an art installation created by artists Barnaby Evans. Full Fire events take place on Saturdays throughout the late spring, summer, and fall. You can learn more about this event and its history at www.waterfire.org. 

Our WaterFire trips are 30 minutes long. We ask that you arrive at least 20 minutes early for your trip so we can prepare your beverages and see you off on time. Keep in mind that dense crowds and heavy traffic can add substantial travel time as well. 

Availability

• This trip is available on Full WaterFire dates only.

  2024 dates will be announced Spring 2024

• WaterFire reservations are likely to be sold out a month or more in advance, so please book as far ahead as your schedule allows.

• If no reservations are available online, you are welcome to call our office at 401.421.8877 and ask to be put on a cancellation list.

What's Included

Ice bucket, wine glasses, opener
Bring your own bottle(s) of wine, prosecco, juice, etc. We try to keep bottle water at the dock but it is not a guarantee.

Handmade Italian wine biscuits
Made here in RI by select local bakers. 

What to Bring

Your favorite beverage. Wine, beer, prosecco, juice ... Whatever your fancy, we'll have the ice bucket, glasses, and opener ready to go for you. 

Snacks, utensils, and napkins. We provide our signature wine biscuits with every trip. However, you are welcome to bring your own snacks, even a picnic meal! Just be sure to bring the napkins, utensils, etc. as well, since we don't have those items on hand. 

Weather-appropriate clothing. We also have blankets and umbrellas for you to use during your trip. 

A camera. We are happy to take photos for you at the dock at the beginning or end of your trip at your request.

Pricing

Trip prices do not include gratuity for your gondolier. 

$299 for a gondola of up to 6 passengers

NOTE: If you have more than six passengers in your party, you may reserve a second gondola for a simultaneous time slot (depending on availability). Please call us at 401.421.8877 to make your reservation.
