Camilla started playing the violin in the fourth grade, following in the footsteps of her two older sisters. Little did she know that the violin would soon become her true love and passion. Since then, Camilla has performed in orchestras and ensembles all over Rhode Island and New England. Through grades 7-12, she was a member of Rhode Island's All-State Junior and Senior orchestras, and while in high school, she had the privilege of leading the Rhode Island Philharmonic Youth Symphony Orchestra. Also, Camilla has had the opportunity to perform beside musicians from the Rhode Island Philharmonic. She is currently studying both Violin Performance and Rhetoric & Writing at Rhode Island College, and is a member of RIC's Symphony and Chamber orchestras as well as one of their student string quartets. Additionally, Camilla tutors in the Writing Center, and plans to attend graduate school after completing her education at RIC.
Below are some samples of Camilla's music.
